Our Story
The MGA Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the MGA Group. We believe that businesses have a moral obligation to society. Our initiatives focus on education, hunger eradication, and skill development for the underprivileged. We work on the ground, partnering with local NGOs to ensure that our resources reach the last mile.
The Challenge
In a growing India with pockets of tremendous prosperity, incredible poverty persists. Children of underprivileged families drop out of school because they need to work. Malnutrition stunts development in critical years. Skills gaps leave millions unable to access decent livelihoods even when work is available. Traditional charity is sporadic and uncoordinated. Without systemic change, the cycle perpetuates: poverty begets poor health, which begets poor education, which begets unemployment, which begets the next generation of poverty.
How We Solve It
We intervene systematically. Through the MGA Foundation, we direct resources into three areas: education, nutrition, and skills. We partner with local NGOs who know their communities, ensuring that development initiatives are contextual and sustainable. We fund schools in rural areas, provide nutritional support to vulnerable children, and run vocational training programs that lead to actual jobs. We measure impact—children completing school, students finding employment, families moving above the poverty line. More importantly, we work to create pathways for communities to be self-reliant, not donor-dependent. When a child from an underprivileged background gets educated, gets skilled, and gets employed, the entire family trajectory changes. That's not charity; that's transformation.
